RMRA’s 7th Annual Mardi Gras Fête was a smashing success!

Featuring a new venue and new entertainment, it was a great opportunity for everyone to have fun while still continuing to raise awareness and money for Rett Syndrome with a wonderful group of people. This year, RMRA raised over 60,000 dollars, which is an almost 20,000 dollar increase from last year's Mardi Gras event!

The new venue, Skylight in Denver, featured a beautiful interior with tall ceilings, and lots of open space for everyone to enjoy. Thanks to a generous donation from Brown Foreman, RMRA was even able to offer an open bar featuring premium cocktails.

For entertainment, there was a special surprise guest (a magician), casino tables, and a photo booth. RMRA’s Culinary Director, Scott Henley, worked closely with two local Creole restaurants, Nola Jane and NoNo’s Cafe, to bring new and exciting flavors to our event, including starters, entrees, and specialty desserts. Some highlights included jambalaya, zydeco salad, and king cake.

The Rocky Mountain Rett Association is so grateful for the support of all of the attendees, committee and board members, and volunteers. Every dollar raised from the event goes directly to the Rett Clinic at Children’s Hospital Colorado to continue and expand operations, fund research, and ultimately find a cure for Rett Syndrome. It truly takes a village! We can’t wait to see you all again next year.
